Heywood Healthcare announces first case of COVID-19

GARDNER — Heywood Healthcare has announced its first positive test for COVID-19.Heywood’s President and CEO Win Brown made the announcement Sunday in his daily video update on the hospital’s website. “We were hoping that it wouldn’t happen, but indeed our first patient has tested positive,” Brown said in his message.
