LOWELL — The criminal case against a 64‑year‑old Lowell man accused of killing a cat and illegally trapping wildlife on his Pawtucketville property is back on track after prosecutors confirmed that September’s dismissal has been vacated.

Middleboro woman with history of animal cruelty charged with neglect of 26 animals
Kimberly Savino, 43, pleaded not guilty in Wareham District Court to 26 counts of animal cruelty by a custodian, subsequent offense. The judge allowed Savino to go home without bail but ordered that she have no contact with animals.
