Raising the flag to stand with Israel

Many in the community cleared their schedules Thursday afternoon at 5 p.m. to be part of a show of strength on the part of the city of Leominster for the people of Israel. Mayor Dean Mazzarella with Rabbi Eve Eichenholtz, of Congregation Agudat Achim, asked the public to join them while they raised the flag of Israel in the Town Common.
