It feels like the Boston Celtics Championship parade was ages ago.
Well, Celtics forward and MVP Jaylen Brown would probably agree since he lost his ring along the parade route and has been hoping to get it back.
However, thanks to two good Samaritans, his nearly two-week search has come to an end, and he’s showing his thanks in a big way.
Brown is an Eastern Conference Finals MVP and now a huge hero from how it appears on his social media.
In a clip he posted to his Instagram, the two fans who found his ring were so excited to return it to him and almost seemed satisfied with the opportunity to meet him.
The awesome interaction between fans Luke and Adi, who apparently found Brown’s 7uice Foundation ring, came two weeks after he posted a plea on social to anyone who could find it.
While he was celebrating the C’s Banner 18 during the parade, he lost that ring while sporting the championship hardware he’d just earned and told whoever found it, they’d get a reward.
He made good on that promise, gifting Luke and Adi with some autographed swag and courtside tickets to the ring ceremony.
This task was a like a needle in a haystack. There were over a million fans out there during the parade and yet, they found the ring, gave it back and now get to reap the rewards of their honesty.

Firefighters are at the scene of a blaze in Everett, Massachusetts, on Wednesday morning.
The fire was reported around 8 a.m. in a 3-story building at Hancock and Tappan streets.
A firefighter reportedly rescued a 3-year-old child from the third floor of the building. The child was taken to Boston Children’s Hospital and the firefighter was also transported to an area hospital.
Two Everett public works employees were the first to see the smoke and ran into the building.
Aerial footage showed about a half dozen fire and emergency vehicles at the scene. Several firefighters were on the roof of the building.
Few details were immediately available.

A lot of us are eager to celebrate the Fourth of July, but it’s also important to stay safe.
The 50th annual Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular will be just that — spectacular — as Tony Award winning Broadway actress Kelli O’Hara will headline the free event at the Hatch Shell.
Hundreds of thousands of people expected to turn out, which is the very reason why security will be strict.
Local, state and federal authorities will have a visible increased presence, keeping their eyes on the ground, in the air and on the water.
Massachusetts State Police say a dedicated team of undercover troopers and officers will be working throughout the day to identify any potential threats.
“Beyond crowd control, our plans include investigative, tactical and intelligence resources that can respond to any situation at a moment’s notice,” said Massachusetts State Police interim Col. Jack Mawn.
“The FBI Boston is not aware of any specific or credible threats targeting the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular or any other July 4th festivities,” said Jodi Cohen, who’s with the FBI Boston Division. “That said, we must maintain a heightened state of vigilance given that we are home to many patriotic and historical landmarks and this event is an attractive and symbolic target.”
Items prohibited include alcohol, backpacks, bikes, cans, drones, fireworks, glass containers, pets or weapons. However, blankets, folding chairs, handheld or should strap coolers and tents are allowed.
The event is expected to take place rain or shine, so just in case, bring an umbrella — and let’s all have a good time.

We are one day away from the Fourth of July, and people across the nation, especially in Massachusetts, will be celebrating.
If you’re planning to travel Wednesday and can get on the road now, you’ll be in good shape, as traffic is moving well.
However, as the day goes on, the roads are expected to get more crowded.
In fact, AAA says it expects nearly 71 million people are traveling over the Fourth of July holiday week, with more than 60 million of them projected to be driving to their destination.
The travel expert is once again expecting record numbers for this holiday. And that seems to be the trend after travel numbers dipped during the pandemic.
“We’re finding that post-pandemic, people are traveling differently, more people have remote work flexibility now, so what people are doing — many people — they’re leaving the weekend before, they’re working remotely from their destination a couple of days and then they’re taking a vacation and coming back,” said Aixa Diaz, AAA spokesperson. “What that does is – it gives you flexibility, you feel like you’re on vacation because you’re away, you’re not at home, so your routine is different, but you’re able to work remotely, not take as many vacation days.”
So, when’s the best and worst times to travel?
Wednesday and Thursday between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. is when you want to avoid being on the roads. If you can get going before noon, that’ll be your best time to travel.
Then on Friday, from 11 a.m. through 4 p.m., will likely be a rough ride on the roads, while travel before 10am is recommended.
And travel experts suggest avoiding rush hour because that will also add to congestion on the roads.
