FITCHBURG — The 2023 Plastic City Comic Con is coming again this weekend to the city but, this year, is being held at Game On Fitchburg. It is scheduled for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This year’s convention will feature a whole host of well-known legends in the ranks of comic book creators including artists who have drawn for comic books such as “Spiderman” and “Wolverine.”
The cost for admission is $10 for adults, free for kids 12. Parking is free for this event, located at the entertainment and athletic facility on Game On Way.
Artists of many well-known comics will be manning tables at the con, including Ron Rudat, legendary Hasbro designer for “G.I. Joe,” Larry Stroman, an artist for the “Punisher” and “Ghost Rider” comic book franchises and Paul Pelletier, who works on “Superman,” “Aquaman” and “Wolverine” comics.
There will be nearly 200 representatives from a wide range of comics books at the convention.
Other artists include Joe St. Pierre, both a writer and artist that works on comics for the “Spider Man” franchise, Sean Wang, a writer and artist for the comic “The Tick,” and artist Keith Williams, who has worked on “Superman,” “Spiderman” and “The Phantom” comic books.
