MASON, N.H. — A 32-year-old Fitchburg woman transported with serious injuries when her motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on Wednesday evening, according to State Police.
At about 8 p.m. on Aug. 23, State Police Troop B Barracks responded to the intersection of Rt. 124 and Rt. 31 for a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck. Upon arrival, it was determined that a 2009 Ford F-250 was traveling eastbound on Rt.124 and a 2021 Kawasaki ZR900 motorcycle was traveling southbound on route Rt. 31 when the vehicles collided.
The Fitchburg woman was transported to Eliot Hospital to be treated for serious injuries. No update on her condition was reported as of deadline.
The operator of the F-250, a 55-year-old male, was not reported injured from the collision.
State Police did yet indicate fault for the collision. At the request of the Troop B Barracks, the Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Unit (C.A.R.) responded to the scene and assisted with the investigation. The Mason Fire Department assisted on scene as well.
