CLINTON — Crowds of visitors flocked to the Wachusett Dam on Sunday for an opportunity to walk along the top of the landmark that was completed in 1905. The walkway opens just twice a year, in May and October, and state Department of Conservation and Recreation rangers and others were on hand to provide security, information and answer questions on the beautiful fall day.
